Project Description
This project was completed for a Merthyr Tydfil–based business and is another strong example of our
web design services in Merthyr Tydfil. The goal was to create a modern, responsive website that showcases DS Carpentry’s craftsmanship and range of bespoke joinery services. Sean wanted a clean, professional site that makes it easy for potential clients to browse completed projects and get in touch.
Built with WordPress and Bricks Builder, the site combines flexibility with fast performance. Pro Forms were integrated for smooth, reliable enquiries, with subtle animations used to add polish without distracting from the content. A WhatsApp chat widget was also included to improve accessibility and make it simple for visitors to contact Sean directly.
THE STORY
Sean built DS Carpentry on attention to detail and honest workmanship, and the website needed to reflect that same quality. We designed a clean, image-led layout that highlights his projects while keeping navigation simple and intuitive.
Using Bricks Builder gave us the freedom to design a custom look without unnecessary bulk, while WordPress makes it easy for Sean to update content as his portfolio grows. The result is a site that feels professional, personal, and true to DS Carpentry’s values.
OUR APPROACH
We started by mapping out a simple structure that focused on DS Carpentry’s core services and portfolio. Using WordPress with Bricks Builder, we built the site from the ground up — keeping it lightweight, fast, and easy to manage.
Animations were added to create a smooth, modern browsing experience, while Pro Forms handled enquiries efficiently without overcomplicating the process. Finally, we integrated a WhatsApp chat widget so visitors can reach Sean directly with one tap.
The result is a site that feels personal, professional, and practical — a true reflection of DS Carpentry’s quality and approach to craftsmanship.
