What we use for hosting
For WordPress and custom websites: We host on Krystal — a UK-based host with a strong reputation for performance, reliability, and support. We also register and manage client domains through Krystal, keeping hosting and domain management together in one place.
For managed starter sites: Our lightweight starter sites are hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare has exceptional global performance and near-zero downtime — for a simpler site, it's the right tool.
In both cases, we handle the hosting and domain as part of the service. Clients don't need separate accounts or separate billing.
What's included as standard
Every site we host includes:
- Backups: Regular, automatic backups stored offsite. If anything goes wrong, we have a clean version to restore from.
- Uptime monitoring: We're alerted the moment a site goes offline, so we can act before clients even notice.
- SSL certificate: Encrypted connection included and managed — no lapses, no manual renewals.
- Security monitoring: Active checks for malware and vulnerabilities.
Maintenance plans
For businesses that want ongoing management on top of hosting, our plans start from £50/month for technical maintenance (updates, security, backups — no content additions) and £75/month for the same plus up to five new pages added per month.
One thing we tell every client at the start: once the website is built, it needs somewhere to live — and that somewhere should be properly looked after.
