IR Energy had an existing website but weren't happy with the results from their previous agency. They came to NC Digital for a homepage redesign and a proper SEO strategy to generate more local enquiries.
What we did
Redesigned the homepage to better communicate IR Energy's expertise and convert visitors into enquiries. Followed this with a three-month local SEO campaign, building 20 dedicated ranking pages targeting high-intent search terms across South Wales — covering solar, battery storage, heat pumps, EV charging, and insulation across Merthyr Tydfil, Cardiff, and the surrounding region.

Before the SEO campaign began, IR Energy were averaging just 2–3 quote request forms per month. Over the following 3 months, the website generated 50 tracked enquiry actions — including form submissions, phone clicks, and email interactions — demonstrating a significant improvement in leads from organic search alone.
To achieve this, we built 20 SEO-focused pages targeting high-intent local search terms across South Wales — covering solar panel installation, battery storage, air source heat pumps, EV charger installation, and insulation across Merthyr Tydfil and Cardiff. The structure was built around pillar pages for "Renewable Energy Installers [location]" supported by individual service and location pages, giving the site strong coverage across multiple relevant searches.
