The brief
KB Trees & Grounds wanted a website to help take the business to the next level. The brief was to advertise its services, show completed projects and give potential customers a straightforward way to get in touch. Being discoverable through Google and AI search was also a priority.
The business provides tree surgery, hedge maintenance and grounds services across Abergavenny, Monmouthshire and South Wales. Its website needed to explain that range clearly, from work in domestic gardens to larger commercial projects.
Making the work visible
The website puts photographs of the team's work at the centre of the experience. The opening image introduces the business in action, while green tones and serif headings give the pages a visual identity suited to its outdoor work.
One of the most useful features is the before-and-after comparison. Visitors can move a slider to see the difference made by tree work, hedge trimming and vegetation clearance. Alongside the project gallery, this gives prospective customers a practical way to assess the work and relate it to their own property.
Services with room to explain
The WordPress website has a homepage and fourteen supporting pages. These include an overview of the services, nine individual service pages, About, Our Work, Areas We Cover and Contact.
Dedicated pages cover tree surgery, emergency tree work, hedge trimming and reductions, grounds maintenance, stump grinding, garden and site clearance, vegetation management, commercial tree services, and orchard and fruit tree pruning.
This structure gives customers a direct route to the service they need, with space for relevant descriptions, photographs and questions. It also keeps information about the business's services and coverage available on clear, linked pages, reflecting the client's aim to be found through search.
From browsing to an enquiry
Quote requests and contact options run through the site, with phone and email links and a separate route for emergency tree work. Project imagery sits alongside reviews, qualifications and insurance information so visitors can explore the business before making contact.
The layouts adapt across desktop, tablet and mobile. Built in WordPress with Bricks, the site's text and images are editable, allowing the business to keep its services and project examples up to date.
