Case study

Priva-Cy

A pre-launch website for Priva-Cy, a Merthyr Tydfil privacy start-up, explaining its planned Personal Privacy Score and collecting early-access sign-ups.

The brief

Priva-Cy is a Merthyr Tydfil start-up developing a Personal Privacy Score: a 0–100 rating of a person's public digital footprint, backed by its S.H.I.E.L.D.™ Framework and starting with Facebook.

The product is still in development, so the website had a specific job. It needed to explain an idea people can't use yet, make the case for why online privacy matters, and gather interest from people who want to hear when it launches.

A design that looks the part

Privacy and security is a subject where trust comes first, so the site uses a dark, cybersecurity-inspired look with electric blue accents. The opening section pairs the "Your Digital Privacy Matters." headline with a security operations scene, and a molecule graphic echoes the Priva-Cy logo.

Because there's no live product to screenshot yet, we also created illustrative dashboard graphics showing an example Personal Privacy Score on a laptop and phone. They give visitors a clear picture of what the finished product is meant to deliver.

One page, one clear route

The site is a single, focused landing page. Visitors move through it in order:

  • an introduction to Priva-Cy and the problem it addresses
  • how the score will work, in three steps: scan, score, improve
  • why it matters, covering financial impact, banking and fraud, personal safety and peace of mind
  • the S.H.I.E.L.D.™ Framework
  • a register-your-interest form
  • frequently asked questions

Calls to register interest appear throughout, so the form is never far away.

Built for sign-ups

The register-your-interest form asks for a name and email address, plus optional questions about the visitor's main social platform and biggest privacy concern. Those answers help Priva-Cy shape the product around what people actually worry about. The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile to keep spam out, and it reminds visitors not to share passwords or sensitive details.

Privacy Policy and Terms of Service pages sit alongside the landing page.

Under the hood

The site is built in WordPress with Bricks, using the Inter typeface with Caveat for handwritten touches. Rank Math handles search metadata, and the layouts adapt across desktop, tablet and mobile.

NC Digital also hosts the website for Priva-Cy.
