We're pleased to share that News From Wales has covered the results of a website we built for one of our clients. The article, Merthyr Tydfil events firm logs 75 enquiries from its website with no ad spend, was published on 19 October 2026.

AK Promotions is an events and promotions company based in Merthyr Tydfil. We built their website, which lets customers browse and buy event tickets directly on the site, and we also created their logo and brand identity.

What the article reports

Between 15 August 2025 and 30 April 2026, with no paid advertising or SEO campaign running, the AK Promotions website recorded:

  • 2,800+ website visits
  • 75 enquiry form submissions
  • 576 clicks from Google Search
  • 8,290 search impressions

Most of that traffic came from organic social media (44%) and search (28%).

Why this matters if you run a local business

The interesting part isn't the visit count. It's that a busy social media presence turned into real enquiries. Plenty of businesses get attention on social media, then send people to a website that doesn't do much with it. Here's what made the difference for AK Promotions.

It looked the part

Events and promotions is a visually competitive space, and a generic, template-looking site wouldn't have cut it. The design reflects the brand: vibrant, confident and high-energy, without losing clarity. When someone clicks through from a social post, the website feels like the same business they just saw.

The brand was consistent everywhere

Because we handled the logo and brand identity as well as the website, the same visual identity carries across the site, social media and print. That consistency helps people trust what they're looking at.

Visitors could see what's on offer at a glance

The site has a showcase of past events and individual service listings, so potential clients can quickly understand the range and quality of what AK Promotions does.

Tickets are sold on the site itself

Customers browse and buy event tickets directly through the website, without being sent off to a third-party platform. That keeps the customer journey in one place and the brand experience consistent from start to finish.

Getting in touch was easy

A clear, direct contact journey means that when someone is interested, there's nothing in the way. Those 75 enquiry form submissions came from a standing start, with no paid promotion behind them.

None of this is complicated. It's a well-built, well-branded website doing what a website should do: presenting the business clearly and making it easy to take the next step.
