AK Promotions is a South Wales events and promotions company based in Merthyr Tydfil. They came to NC Digital needing a website that matched the energy and professionalism of their events — something bold, modern, and capable of converting the traffic they were already generating through their social media presence into real enquiries and ticket sales.
The Brief
AK Promotions needed a site that could handle two things: make potential clients understand the range and quality of their services at a glance, and give customers an easy way to find, browse, and purchase event tickets online.
Visually, it needed to stand out. Events and promotions is a visually competitive space — a generic or template-looking site wouldn't cut it.
What We Built
A bold, modern website with a showcase of past events, individual service listings, and a clear, direct contact journey. The design was built to reflect the brand — vibrant, confident, and high-energy — without sacrificing clarity or usability.
E-commerce functionality was integrated so that customers can browse and purchase event tickets directly through the site, without being redirected to a third-party platform. This keeps the customer journey contained and the brand experience consistent.
As part of the project, NC Digital also handled logo design and brand identity for AK Promotions — creating a visual identity that carries consistently across the website, social media, and print materials.
The Results
Since launch (August 2025 to April 2026, with no paid advertising or SEO campaign running):
- 2,800+ total visits to the site
- 75 enquiry forms submitted
- 576 clicks from Google Search
- 8,290 search impressions
- 2,300 active users
- 18,000 tracked events on site
Traffic is driven primarily by organic social (44%) and search (28%) — meaning the site is performing well across two channels entirely on its own. No ad spend. No SEO retainer. Just a well-built, well-branded website doing what a well-built website should do.
The 75 enquiry form submissions from a standing start — with no paid promotion — demonstrate that the site isn't just attracting traffic; it's converting it.
